SEPTEMBER 8TH MEETING
It's a good thing we show all subtitled stuff, since it's International Literacy Day!
Come on down to exercise your noggin, as well as your reading skills, by watching intrigue in the French court in Le Chevalier D'Eon, intrigue in the near future in Ghost in the Shell: 2nd Gig, as well as Kamichu!, Rozen Maiden and Zero no Tsukaima. Plus, Earthsea fans won't want to miss out on Studio Ghibli's adaptation of Tales from Earthsea!
Don't forget, as always, we're at the Santa Clara City Library this year! Don't go to the wrong place!

"Follower of the Revolution" - D'Eon formally joins Louis XV's "Secret de Roi" secret police and learns of Lia's work in this organization. D'Eon and his companions try to track down the Russian Vorontsov who's key to the political side of the conspiracy.

Will Souseiseki have to follow her sister and leave the couple behind, or will they find a better solution?

Inspired by Ursula K. Le Guin's books, Gedo Senki (which roughly translates to "a military history of Ged") provides a tantalizingly brief glimpse into the world presented in the Earthsea novels.
