Event: AnimeiCon 2013
AnimeiCon
was held October 4-6, 2013 in Monterey, California. This year, the con was
mostly on the third floor of the Monterey Conference Center. The
exception was the maid cafe, Lotus Cafe, which was in a different
building. After brief formalities at registration, a volunteer was assigned
to escort our photographer to the cafe. While it was a short walk, it took
extra time because the vol was wearing Pikachu Kigurumi and
various women wanted to take pictures with him. The cafe was in one
part of the Museum of Monterey, and there was a rotating lighthouse
beacon with a dim light inside on one end of the cafe area.
