FanimeCon 2013 Report and Pictures
In 2013, FanimeCon
had anime themed events in and around the San Jose
Convention Center, the attached hotels and two nearby hotels.
For the second year, there were Steampunk events at the DoubleTree
Hotel near the San Jose Airport.

Opening Ceremonies was preceded and followed by dancing by a Psy cosplayer.
First time guests from Japan were
Bandai toy designer T. Nonaka,
animation director Yumi Sato and animation producer Takahiro Omori both
from studio Brain's Base and
the bands ROOKiEZ is PUNK'D
and 7!! (Seven Oops).

We saw many, many cosplayers but we've given up
trying to photograph more than a few of them. FanimeCon always has
multiple things going on, so it's certain that we've missed covering
