Coverage: J-Pop Summit Festival 2011 - Hatsune Miku Project DIVA Arcade

Sega's Hatsune Miku Project DIVA Arcade is a Japanese "press buttons in time with the music" arcade game with Vocaloid music and animations. The machine pictured was transported from Japan for this festival and is the first one ever to be brought to America. The game features songs created by Vocaloid fans.

The latest set of songs for the games in Japan includes one song created outside of Japan. Bay Area resident Yukie Dong is the lyricist for the song Hanamai Tsukuyomi Tan (花舞月詠譚, more details at The-O Network).

(Unfamiliar with Vocaloid? See our "Why Vocaloid?" sidebar.)
