FanimeCon 2010 Report and Pictures
FanimeCon
continues to grow bigger every year.
We saw cosplayers and
more cosplayers.
Opening Ceremonies included a representative
of the government of Japan talking about the importance of anime, manga
and j-pop.
In the past few years, certain aspects of Akihabara culture have gained
prominence at FanimeCon. Guest of Honor Momoi Halko
who is known
as the Queen of Akihabara returned for a second time,
and there was a strong presence of maids
at the Fanimaid Cafe, Stage Zero and around the con in general.
The work of making FanimeCon happen continues to be done by a large
number of unpaid staff and volunteers. We took a couple pictures of staff.
