The most dangerous prisoners in the galaxy have taken over the most impregnable prison and
are holding the warden hostage. The good news is that the prisoners have enough weapons to
hold off an invading army. The bad news is that the warden is needed by WWWA for an upcoming
trial so they have sent in the Lovely Angels to retrieve him, the poor convicts.

Yet another Miyazaki classic! Though he didn't create the character of Lupin, some would argue
that Miyazaki imbued the gentleman-thief with more character and compassion than anyone else has.
In any case, Lupin and Jigen start off robbing a bank, but when they discover phony money, Lupin
decides he has to track down its source. The trail leads him to the small kingdom of Cagliostro,
and a chance meeting with the Princess Clarice. Moved by her beauty (and by his oft-hidden sense
of compassion and fair play), Lupin decides to help liberate the princess. In so doing, he must
cross swords, so to speak, with the Count. Can even Lupin get through when an entire kingdom is
marshalled against him? Find out in this funny but moving classic!
