ALL ALLITERATIVE ACTION APRIL! If you showed up for the March meeting, you no doubt discovered we weren't there. We're sorry, but there was some sort of scheduling problem, so that the library had us scheduled for the previous weekend. Our bad. We'll try to make it up to you this month by having some extra goodies, so we hope you'll be there to enjoy them! Anyway, our "All Alliterative Action April" will kick off with a great (though slightly different) episode of Patlabor, followed by our usual staple of shows. And we're also happy to announce we'll be bringing back episodes of Ranma 1/2, which we're kicking off with the first Ranma movie! Also making a return is the You're Under Arrest! OAV series, which is so good that it deserves another showing. And this month, the action in Blue Seed gets really intense, as some of the major plot points begin rearing their ugly heads, the consequences of which will only be seen near the end of the series. This Month's Schedule 12:30 Patlabor #1 (Subtitled, Mecha Action/Adventure) The episode "90% Viewer Rate" involves a long-running children's show on TV, but it's nothing like Kodocha! When this one is about to go off the air, one of the cast takes the other cast members hostage! The SV II must defuse the situation, but they can only do that when they find out what really going on! ---Subtitled, from US Manga Corps 1:00 Blue Seed #14 (Subbed, Action/Horror adventure) In "A Chase Down Yamato Highway! Love Under Fire!", Momiji and Kusanagi must both come to terms with the shocking discovery from the previous episode: that Kaede, Momiji's twin sister, is still alive! But why, and even more importantly, what does Kaede now want? And will Kusanagi's love for her cause him to throw everything away and join her? ---Subtitled A.D. Vision 1:30 Captain Tylor #10 (Subbed, Action/Comedy) In episode #10, called "Mind's Eye, Half Blind, Headed for a Rough Ride," trouble brews on board as usual. Emi and Yumi decide they'd like some fighter pilot action from Kojiro, a pilot who's had the run of the ship. Can Tylor fix the problems, and without, as is usual, causing even more trouble? ---Subtitled The Right Stuf 2:00 Abunai! Break time! (Definitely dubbed, General weirdness) It's time for our usual break, along with the door prizes! We promise to have a couple of extra special items to make up for last month, so make sure you're there! ---Apparently by No-Name Anime 2:50 You're Under Arrest! #1 (Subtitled, Action/Comedy) In "And Then They Met...", Tsujimoto Natsumi is already running late her first day on the job at the police department, and of all the luck, she had to get a ticket, too! What grates on her even more is, it turns out the police officer giving her the ticket is her future partner! Can things possibly get any worse? ---Subtitled by AnimEigo 3:20 Ranma 1/2 Movie #1 (Subtitled, Action/Comedy) It's an ordinary day at the Tendou's when a mysterious Chinese girl, with her pet elephant in tow, shows up seeking revenge on Happosai. Although this is pretty strange even for Ranma, it gets strange when a ship descends from the sky, and Akane is kidnapped. Now Ranma (and company) will stop at nothing to get Akane back... provided they don't kill each other first! ---Subbed by Project Daicon 4:40 Kodomo no Omocha #16 (Subtitled, Insanely frantic Comedy) In "Two Pounding Heart," after the commercial shoot, Kamura Naozumi whispers to Sana that he knows her secret. Just who is this guy? Also, Hayama decides to commit himself to an activity other than moping. And meanwhile, Sana anxiously awaits the release of Mama's book. ---Subbed by Kodocha Anime
