September Special Features

Summer is almost over, and it's back to school time for a lot of people. But that doesn't mean you have to stop watching anime! And what better time to have our special feature than this month, when Sailor Moon starts showing on TV stations around the country? That's right, it's the Sailor Moon R movie! In addition, we continue our usual Ranma TV series showing as well as a really great episode of Nadia. For more details, read on!

In the second of the "new" Tenchi OAVs, titled "Sasami & Tsunami," a disturbing incident from the planet Jurai from years ago comes back to haunt Sasami. Tenchi and company return to the hot spring resort. The innkeeper is ecstatic to have people helping out again. But then they discover a mysterious ghost, and it seems that only Sasami knows something about it.

In "Present," Ai is upset about certain changes in herself, while Youta is still looking for ways to help Moemi. But when Ai shows up at school with him, things really get crazy. Youta is sure Ai is just being a nuisance, while Ai thinks Youta is an idiot, but is later surprised by an act of kindness on his part. This episode sets the stage for changes in the way Ai feels about Youta. Plus the Video Theater Extra with a segment on why anime characters all speak standard Japanese dialect.
